Ginger Brunner, CHRP

Ginger is a certified HR professional and founder of Dynamic HR Solutions Inc. with over 15 years of management and human resources experience. Her committment to client satisfaction has enabled her to successfully lead a collaborative team of experienced HR professionals in developing and delivering outstanding human resources services and training.

An accomplished trainer, Ginger is also an instructor within the Leadership Development certificate and Continuing Education programs at Camosun College. With her facilitation style often described as energetic, thought-provoking and motivating by training participants, she takes pride in developing and delivering interactive training programs that are not only engaging and memorable, but practical.

Ginger is an active member of the BC Human Resources Management Association (BCHRMA) and the BC Restaurant & Foodservices Association (BCRFA). When she is not focused on clients or spending time with her family, she can often be found volunteering with a number of local organizations including Junior Achievement, the Canadian Cancer Society.

Monica Joyce (Joy) Niven
Joy brings a positive and pragmatic perspective to Human Resources with a strong emphasis on results. Having spent more than 20 years working in the banking industry, Joy developed and honed her business acumen as she rose through its ranks. During her years as a successful manager, she developed programs to improve recruitment and retention and implemented safety training. Joy has a keen instinct for Human Rights concerns and a “no nonsense” approach to situations warranting discipline and discharge. A strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility guide Joy’s principled and thoughtful Human Resources advice. 
Community involvement is an important and deeply personal commitment. Joy can often be found assisting neighbours with chores and child care as well as preparing meals for others and adopting homeless animals. In the past, Joy has organized corporate teams for in support of breast cancer research such as the CIBC Run for the Cure.  
Joy is eager to work with her valued clients to bring common sense solutions to every day situations and proactively address potential issues.

Glenn Barned, CHRP, CHSC, CRSP
Glenn Barned is a Professional Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Consultant with RGB Enterprises. With over 25 years of experience in OH&S, Glenn has worked with both public and private sectors, achieving their OH&S goals.

Glenn has received recognition through his training development and delivery in all areas that he has worked. Course evaluations for Glenn’s delivery of various training courses have confirmed his superior delivery with clarity, real life examples, humour, and his ability to involve the participants with an outgoing, interactive style.

Glenn is an instructor with the WorkSafe programs through Trades & Technologies at Camosun College, as well as an instructor for the Business School for the HR Degree Program. Glenn also instructs for the University of Victoria in Risk Management and for a variety of not-for-profit Organizations, and various clients. In addition, the B.C. Canadian Society of Safety Engineering.


Bill Fosdick, MA
Bill Fosdick is an expert on connecting the dots and a master of common sense. Getting from A to B, from beginning to end, is easier when Bill is part of the process. After graduating from UBC with a business degree specializing in marketing, he spent the first third of his career working in the private sector for The Hudson’s Bay Company and PepsiCo. After awaking one day and finding himself on the wrong side of the continent, he packed his bags and returned with his family to the west coast and committed the next third of his career to the BC Public Service and the not-for-profit sector. His combined public and private sector experience has allowed him to help other clarify the issues and solidify their direction.

He recently completed a master of business administration at Royal Roads and now provides consulting services specializing in compensation, succession management and strategic planning. Bill also teaches human resources at Camosun College.

A story teller, workshop leader and creator of industrial comic art, Bill brings a creative energy to the room allowing you to easily connect the dots.

Megan Randall
 
Megan is a human resources/business consultant who has a heart for people, an intuitive sense of what managers and candidates need, and an ear for listening for new ways to build on successful new relationships. Determining who to hire to best meet the needs of your organization and prospective employees is more easily charted when Megan is involved. She is skilled in reducing the crunch factor for people who need things done yesterday and her ability to ask the right questions of candidates and references has helped managers confidently align employees with current or changing strategic direction through effective recruitment, selection, retention and succession planning practices.

A UVic behavioural psychology graduate with accounting and advanced human resources diplomas from Camosun College, Megan has combined her finance and human resources knowledge to deliver services in the public and non-profit sectors. Megan has been described as high energy, empathetic, welcoming, inspirational, motivational, and genuinely interested in the well-being of others; she ensures people are heard, understood and ready to act.

Megan is currently a member of the BC Human Resources Management Association (BCHRMA) and volunteers for events such as Project Connect to help address issues facing Victoria’s homeless population.
